Call for a permanent ceasefire

Over 2.2 million people are in urgent need of safety and vital assistance, including food, water and medical supplies.

The Israeli military onslaught, which has included dropping at least 45,000 bombs within the first three months of the war, has killed at least 33,000 people, about 180 a day. This death toll does not include those who remain trapped under rubble or have died due to lack of medicines, such as cancer or dialysis patients who have not been able to access life-saving treatments. UNICEF reported that, by the 7th of January 2024, more than 1,000 children had one or both legs amputated.

These deliberate attacks on the civilian population and essential infrastructure must stop, as required by international humanitarian law. We need to urgently protect Palestinian and Israeli civilians and humanitarian workers from attacks and demand that water, food, fuel, healthcare and other vital aid be allowed into Gaza.

It’s time to speak out and say that every life — Palestinian and Israeli — should be treated with humanity. And that we refuse to be divided in our call for lasting peace and justice.

We will not be bystanders. Please join us as we urge the world leaders to call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

Halting the violence is the only way to guarantee the entry of vital aid and humanitarian personnel into Gaza, to release all civilians detained, and to evacuate critically ill patients.

A signature can save lives.
