Call for a permanent ceasefire

2.2 million people are in urgent need of safety and vital assistance, including food, water and medical supplies.

The figures are alarming: between October 7 and December 3, over 16,000 Palestinians have been killed — over 11,000 of them being women and children. It is estimated that more than 6,500 people are missing, presumably under the rubble, 4,400 of whom are believed to be children. These deliberate attacks on the civilian population and essential infrastructure are intolerable. They must stop, as required by international humanitarian law.

We need to urgently protect Palestinian and Israeli civilians and humanitarian workers from attacks and demand that water, food, fuel, healthcare and other vital aid be allowed into Gaza.

It’s time to speak out and say that every life — Palestinian and Israeli — should be treated with humanity. And that we refuse to be divided in our call for lasting peace and justice.

We will not be bystanders. Please join us as we urge the world leaders to call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

Halting the violence is the only way to guarantee the entry of vital aid and humanitarian personnel into Gaza, to release all civilians detained, and to evacuate critically ill patients.

A signature can save lives.
